Boy, I even forgot this one... just remembered when I saw 's...
And just like the catboy said, it's hard to choose only ten ('cept for the first three ). It was tough for me as well, but here it is.
1) Animal Crossing: City Folk (WII)
Since I first played the GameCube version I felt in love with this franchise. It's like a mix of a life sim with the Zelda extras (y'know, the non-action stuff). This version, even if it has a few changes from the DS version, still worth every penny, online or not. I can't help having a daily commitment with it.
2) Animal Crossing: Wild World (NDS)
Well... as I just said, I love this franchise. This version in particular really knocked my socks off with all the improvement from the last version. Didn't explore the online experience much (only a kind visit from ), but even so I really enjoyed it. Thing is, I haven't palyed it much since the arrival of the Wii version.
3) Animal Crossing (NGC)
Guess who! I remember that in my *démodé* city, the first and penultimate game rental to have GameCube games happened to have this one among their few titles. I heard many positive comments about it, so decided to give it a try. As you all can expect, from that day onwards my life divided into "Before Animal Crossing" and "After Animal Crossing"! That was the only time I rented it: two months later I bought it.
4) Super Mario 64 DS
Super Mario 64 was the best adventure game I've ever played, until this one appeared. I mean, a revamped version of my favorite adventure game of all time? Couldn't let that one pass!
5) Super Smash Bros. Brawl (WII)
Although I like the common fighting games, Smash Bros. franchise is incomparable. The perfect mix of a platformer and a fighting game. I like all three versions, but this one takes the cake for all the amount of extras, unlockables and collectibles, as well as the impeccable overall presentation, which is a real pleasure to the eyes.
6) Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (N64)
My favorite Zelda and RPG title of all time. Can't even explain why, once Zelda games with non-toon Link just differs the story and the amount of enygmas, basically. Finishing it was a personal milestone. Ah, memories...
7) GeneRally (Freeware)
How come this freeware racing game made all of us here at home so addicted, I don't know. Maybe it's the simple yet well-responding controls, maybe it's the fully customizable content, or maybe it's both combined.
8) World Driver Championship (N64)
Often called "the son of Gran Turismo", this is one of the racing games I most played in my life. I simply loved the concept of cool GT cars in landmark scenery tracks (such as the streets of Vegas or that big bridge in Sydney).
9) Human Grand Prix - The New Generation (N64)
This 1996-Formula-One-season-based game didn't have the sharp graphics, the realistic physics nor the official licenses and likenesses of Formula One like 'F-1 World Grand Prix'. Then why I prefer it than the best Formula One game of its generation? Two motives: first, it was a perfect balance of dynamic arcade racing and tactical simulation racing (if turned on the options of damages and consumptions). Second, the unique possibility to bring back legends like Ayrton Senna, Nelson Piquet, Nigel Mansell and Alain Prost on the circus.
10) Duke Nukem 3D (PC)
My favorite FPS of all time. Particularly with the expansion packs with all new stages and stuff.
Well, that's pretty much it. Here's the template: [link]
Oh, and... if after looking for this you might think I never played anything apart from Nintendo, Sega and/or PC stuff, you're wrong. I did play lots of Playstation, NeoGeo, Arcades and lots of other systems, and I did try all of their main titles, but the ones mentioned here are the ones that I... let's say... would take with me to a desert island or a long trip if I had to choose. And I gotta confess, I don't play any PS3 or X360 right now, and I had no interest, though. There are a few titles from these that I'd like to play, but nothing that I crave, itching myself to play.
Wow, I can't believe you actually chose Majora's Mask instead of Ocarina of Time! I love both of the games almost equally, but I've always felt like I was in a minority for liking Majora's Mask so much.

Heh! Lotsa people prefer Ocarina of Time, it's pretty common. I mean, for me both are just the same thing, but somehow I prefer the scenarios of Majora's Mask. But it's nice to see you prefer it too!

Lots of Animal Crossing. XD Really they could be lumped into one game since their so similar. I've played City Folk and Wild World and the only thing I liked about the former can be seen in my webcam.
Brawl and Majora's Mask. ^o^ Glad to see someone supporting them above the others in the series.

City Folk is practically a mix of the former versions. But by that thought of yours, franchises like Halo, GTA, Call of Duty and Rainbow Six shouldn't even concern themselves on releasing sequels.

When it comes to Super Mario 64 DS....I find that a cool game....sadly I didn't collect all the stars for some got me alittle too nervous.
Super Smash Bros Brawl on the other hand, I have to agree, it has so much capacity, almost everything was able to stay since Melee. I don't think I can get enough of that game for even if I was unable to have some fun being alone...at least creating a new stage was entertaining.

Same here. Can't get enough of it. Specially when it comes to that adventure mode. I so wish that it could become a feature movie! Just imagine it!
